:::::: 03.16.03: corporate bagpipe deco wetdreams ::::::
we woke to the sounds of bagpipes and drums echoing through the towering streets of the riverside corporate sector we were lodging in. outside battalions of bagpipers in costume marched in endless formations. it was some sort of st. patrick's parade, with children in colorful robes and gangs of young dudes done up like extras from lord of the rings. big beards, battle axes, helmets and chain mail--my kind of parade.

we headed down to the river and found breakfast in this strange town at some sort of glassed in human greenhouse. an old bridge stood in the distance and the day was bright and hot.

we headed to the airport to fly to melbourne. justin was displaying a unique body language within the terminal, one leg atop his suitcase and an arm extended to the west, which seemed to signify horizons yet to be attained, directions yet to be contaminated.

in melbourne we were taken to our hotel, which was sort of a blade runner style deco corporate wetdream. this kind of architecture space seems to impose regularly on our lives.

we were taken to a tiny place for dinner where a klezmer band cramped in the front stomped and wailed all evening. engorged diners clapped along as troughs of succulent meats were brought forth for the nightfeast.
