:::::: 11.15.03: US FESTIVAL '83!!! ::::::
check out the website on the US Festival '83, which I attended when I was a kid. it was a 3 day event with a new wave day, metal day and pop day. I remeber a multitude of feathered hair, shirtless dudes with combs in their back pockets and the smell of dust and bad weed. I also remember wall of voodoo and flock of seagulls, along with men at work and missing persons. the clash got into a brawl with security. I think it was their last show. the website has amazing photos of the event. the crowd shots are great. there's one guy posting on there who asks if anybody has crowd photos from metal day--he was the guy in front of the judas priest banner on the middle speaker tower.
