A small percentage DVD players may have problem accessing certain tracks from the Track Menu on the Beck - Guero DVD disc. This issue can occur because of the complicated nature of the D-Fuse content on certain tracks. If your player has problems accessing a particular track from the menu, you can easily workaround this problem by going to the track before the problem track, and either skipping or fast-forwarding to the end that track so that the player continues playing into the problem track.

Beck and Filter Magazine have teamed up for a charity event to benefit the International Foundation for Human Rights and Tolerance this coming Thursday, February 24th at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood. With special guest Cat Power.

100% of all net ticket proceeds will go to support the International Foundation for Human Rights and Tolerance efforts for the Orphans of the Tsunami.

For Guero's US release, we will be releasing two versions: The standard 13 track release, and a deluxe 2-disc set that features the 13 tracks plus 3 bonus tracks and 4 remixes by Boards of Canada, Dizzee Rascal, Royksopp, and Octet. The second disc will feature the DVD-A 5.1 mix of Guero, along with two videos. D-Fuse will be doing all the DVD content, including slideshows, and navigation.

The UK Guero will be the standard release with 2 of the bonus tracks, while Japan standard will have all 3, and the rest of the world having 1.

Thanks to all who attended the Music for Relief Benefit. With your help, we were able to raise over 200k for the tsunami relief fund. Beck played 4 songs solo, including Lonesome Tears on the harmonium, and Lost Cause, with special guest Will Ferrell handling dancing duties.

Beck warmed up for the show by playing a super-secret set with his new band at Spaceland in Silverlake. It is the first time he has hit the stage there almost 10 years and was glad to be back premiering some material from the new album.

Beck will be making an appearance at the 'Music For Relief' benefit on January 17 at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles to help Southern Asia Tsunami victims.
